Abstract:
To provide an imaging apparatus and a method capable of preventing a dead cell floating on the liquid surface of a container from aggregating at the center section of an imaging area as a moving stage on which the container that accommodates cells is installed moves, and an imaging control program.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: an imaging section for imaging a cell; a moving stage 51 on which a container in which the cell is accommodated is installed; and an imaging controller 21 that makes an imaging target range move within an imaging area including the cell by moving the moving stage 51 and photographs the image of each imaging target range by controlling the imaging section. The imaging controller 21 makes the moving stage 51 not to move in a same direction three times or more in succession.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
