Abstract:
To effectively prevent a sweeping phenomenon in a transfer medium to which a plurality of pages are continuously output in a conveyance direction.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus outputs a plurality of page images to a transfer medium continuing in a conveyance direction, and comprises a control unit that performs data processing on the images in a page unit. In performing the data processing, the control unit can refer to pixels of the image within a predetermined width in the conveyance direction of the transfer medium to determine a change in density of the image, and perform density correction for the image in a page unit on the basis of the change in density, and when pixels outside the pages are included within the predetermined width in the conveyance direction, performs data processing different from the density correction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
