Abstract:
To provide a display device capable of reducing power consumption.SOLUTION: A display device is equipped with a liquid crystal panel 11 which has a display surface 31, a liquid crystal layer 14 capable of converting a light transmission aspect, a reflection pixel electrode 32 arranged on the opposite side to the display surface 31 with respect to the liquid crystal layer 14 and reflecting light incident from the display surface 31 side to the display surface 31 side, an opening portion 33 arranged on the opposite side to the display surface 31 with respect to the liquid crystal layer 14 and transmitting light, and a color filter 20 arranged on the display surface 31 side with respect to the reflection pixel electrode 32 and the opening portion 33; and a light accumulating portion 42 which accumulates light to emit a color that is a complementary color to a color shown by a color filter 20, and is arranged on the opposite side to the display surface 31 with respect to the opening portion 33.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
