Abstract:
To provide a waterjet propulsion machine acting even when power generation ability of a main engine 920 is small by reducing difference between consumed power by an engine 951 and power generating ability of the main engine 920 by preventing loss by an inverter.SOLUTION: A matrix converter 152a is used as a converter included in a starter board 152. Although the matrix converter 152a requires high speed as well as accurate control but when these are fulfilled, is capable of being used as an ideal converter with little loss. As a result, a main power generator 120 is capable of being small and contributing to securing in vessel capacity and reduction in fuel consumption.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
