Abstract:
To provide an electric water heater that enables suppressing deterioration of design performance even when a distance between the electric water heater and a power source differs.SOLUTION: An electric water heater 1 having a hot water storage tank 12 includes: a heating section 14 for heating water in the hot water storage tank 12; a casing 24 configured to surround the hot water storage tank 12; a power cord 500 for supplying electric power from an outlet D; and a fixation member 28 for fixing the electric water heater 1 to a fixed member. The casing 24 includes at least a rear wall 36, and the rear wall 36 includes a power cord accommodation section 70 for accommodating the power cord 500. The power cord accommodation section 70 includes a take-out port 71 for taking out the power cord 500 to outside. The fixation member 28 is fixed to the fixed member and the rear wall 36 astride the power cord accommodation section 70 and the power cord 500.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
