Title:
BUFFER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2019060104
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide a buffer that makes constant a reduction in the tension applied to a rope material supporting a falling rock capture part.SOLUTION: A buffer 100 is a buffer that grips overlapping parts of two rope members that are tensioned in the opposite direction when capturing falling rocks, in which: one of the two rope members is disposed between a first swollen part 12 and an intermediate plate 30; and the other of the two rope members is disposed between a second swollen part 22 and the intermediate plate. Thus, at the time of falling rock capture, the two rope members make surface contact with a first constraint plate 10, a second constraint plate 20, and the intermediate plate, and slide against the sliding frictional resistance. At this time, the buffer makes constant the reduction in the tension applied to the two rope members by bringing the two rope members into surface contact with the first constraint plate, the second constraint plate, and the intermediate plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
