Abstract:
To provide a zoom lens that has a wide angle of view and facilitates quick focusing and high optical performance over entire object distance.SOLUTION: A zoom lens includes, disposed in order from an object side to an image side, a first lens group having negative refractive power and a rear group including one or more lens groups, and an interval between adjacent lens groups varies during zooming and focusing. The rear group includes a focus lens group that moves during focusing and has negative refractive power. Focal distance f1 of the first lens group, focal distance fW of an entire system at the shortest focal distance, and curvature radiuses R1 and R2 of lens surfaces at the object side and image side of a lens G1 disposed nearest to the object side of the first lens group are each appropriately set.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
