Abstract:
To provide a catalyst layer-attached electrolyte membrane which enables the achievement of both of firmly bonding between a carbon hydride-based polymer electrolyte membrane and a catalyst layer including a fluorine-based polymer electrolyte, and a satisfactory power generation performance.SOLUTION: A catalyst layer-attached electrolyte membrane comprises: a polymer electrolyte membrane including a carbon hydride-based polyelectrolyte; a catalyst layer including a fluorine-based polymer electrolyte and catalyst-supporting carbon particles; and a middle layer interposed between the polymer electrolyte membrane and the catalyst layer. In the catalyst layer-attached electrolyte membrane, the middle layer includes at least one polyelectrolyte of a carbon hydride-based polyelectrolyte and a fluorine-based polymer electrolyte, and catalyst-supporting carbon particles; the weight ratio of a content of the polyelectrolyte to a content of the catalyst-supporting carbon particles is 4.0 or more and 16.0 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
