Abstract:
To provide a medical body position fixation mat that can prevent a pressure sore even when fixing the body whole and treating it for long time, and further, can shorten even time required for preparing body position fixation, while stably fixing a patient's body position and being configured so that "bottoming feeling" and "hardness" may not be transmitted to a patient.SOLUTION: A body position fixation mat 1 is provided in which a cushion body 3 is built in an inside of a gas impermeable bag body 2. The cushion body 3 has the foamed beads filled in an inside of a predetermined gas permeable bag body having a periphery 3d where an entire circumference is closed. This gas permeable bag body has multiple parallel foamed beads filling spaces 5a, 5b extending in a longitudinal direction by using a coupling part 3c as a boundary. An average particle size of the foamed beads 6 of the foamed beads filling space 5a of both ends is smaller than an average particle size of the foamed beads 7 of the foamed beads filling space 5b at a center side. After degassing the bag body 2, the cushion body 3 is caused to adhere to the bag body 2 and the foamed beads 6, 7 are fixed in an inside of the cushion body 3, and thereby a patient's body is fixed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
