Abstract:
To provide an opening regulation device capable of fixing a face member in an almost fully opened state and rapidly closing the face member in an emergency, and a fitting including the same.SOLUTION: An opening regulation device includes: an arm 5 whose one end is attached to one of an open frame 2 and a face member 3 in a rotatable manner; a sliding member 7 which is arranged to the other of the open frame 2 and the face member 3 and to which the other end of the arm 5 is attached in a rotatable manner; a frame 6 accommodating the sliding member 7 in a movable manner in association with opening and closing movements of the face member 3; a latch mechanism which allows the sliding member 7 to move in association with the opening movement of the face member 3 and which regulates an opening of the face member 3 by restricting the movement of the sliding member 7 in the direction of the closing movement of the face ember 3 in any of predetermined multistage positions; and a forced release mechanism 9 which forcibly releases the restricted state of the sliding member 7 at the opening degree just before the face member 3 fully opens to make it possible for the face member 3 to undergo the closing movement.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
