Abstract:
To provide a vibration controlled building which has high design freedom and which can easily perform vibration control.SOLUTION: A vibration controlled building B comprises: a building 1 including a vertically extending void space S inside; and a core structure 2 provided in the void space S and having a vibration characteristic different from that of the building 1, in which the core structure 2 and the building 1 are connected by a vibration controlled device 3 which attenuates vibration at least in a horizontal direction. As the core structure 2, an upper fixed core structure 4 whose upper side 4a is fixed to the building 1 and whose lower side 4b is not fixed to the building 1 is provided. At least the lower side 4b of the upper fixed core structure 4 and the building 1 are connected by the vibration controlled device 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
