Abstract:
To provide: a display capable of suppressing the hindrance of recognition of scenery when a user visually recognizing a superimposed image moves the line of sight from a nearby place to a distant place; a display control method; and a program.SOLUTION: The display comprises: display means for displaying a superimposed image visually recognized to overlap scenery by a user; display control means for controlling the display of the superimposed image; and gaze distance determining means for estimating a user's gaze distance to determine whether or not the estimated gaze distance is longer than a predetermined distance. The display control means switches the superimposed image to a distant place mode when the gaze distance determining means determines that the estimated gaze distance is longer. In the distant place mode, controlled is at least any display of reducing and displaying predetermined contents C1 and C2 displayed in the superimposed image before switching or displaying them at a position different from that before switching.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
