Abstract:
To provide a display that can improve reliability.SOLUTION: According to the present embodiment, there is provided a display comprising: a switching element that has a source electrode and a drain electrode; an inorganic insulating film that is in contact with the source electrode and the drain electrode; a metal film that is in contact with the inorganic insulating film and has an opening at a position overlapping with the drain electrode; a capacitive insulating film that covers the metal film; a pixel electrode that is located on the capacitive insulating film and electrically connected to the drain electrode; an electrophoretic element that is located on the pixel electrode; and a common electrode that is located on the electrophoretic element, where the metal film has a normally-tapered end in the opening.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
