Abstract:
To provide an image formation apparatus which can adjust a transfer condition of a second surface in such a state that a toner image is formed on a first surface while suppressing a reduction in accuracy of the transfer condition setting of the second surface due to density fluctuation of a toner image formed on the first surface of a test chart.SOLUTION: A control unit forms a second test pattern 102 on a second surface S2 of a second test chart Tc2 after forming a solid image 103 on a first surface of the second test chart Tc2 when outputting a second test pattern 102. The second test pattern 102 includes a plurality of toner images transferred to a recording material from an image carrier at different second transfer voltages. The solid image 103 is at least formed at a position overlapping with a region where each of the plurality of toner images is formed. Toner application amounts per unit area in the regions overlapping with the regions where the plurality of toner images are individually formed out of the regions where the solid image 103 is formed are substantially the same.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
