Abstract:
To provide a discharge lamp drive device capable of improving a life of a discharge lamp, regardless of an individual difference of the discharge lamp.SOLUTION: A discharge lamp drive device includes a discharge lamp drive section for supplying a drive current to a discharge lamp having first and second electrodes, a control section for controlling the discharge lamp drive section, and a storage section for storing multiple drive patterns of the drive current. The control section selects any one of the multiple drive patterns on the basis of machine learning, executes the selected drive pattern, and when predetermined conditions are satisfied, the control section does not select nor execute the drive patterns based on the machine learning, but executes a predetermined pattern of the multiple drive patterns.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
