Abstract:
To provide a technique capable of suppressing a temperature rise due to an increase in current flowing through a power supply terminal in an electric connector.SOLUTION: An electric connector is a plug connector 100 mounted on a printed-circuit board 300, and comprises an insulating housing 110, a first power supply terminal 120 coupled to the housing 110, and a heat dissipation member 140 coupled to the housing 110. The first power supply terminal 120 comprises a first mounting part 121 located on the board side. The heat dissipation member 140 comprises a second mounting part 141 located on the board side and a heat dissipation part 142 located on the board side. Both surface of a fitting side and the board side are exposed in the heat dissipation part 142. The first mounting part 121 and the second mounting part 141 are connected via a metal pattern 310 of the printed-circuit board 300. The heat generated in the first power supply terminal 120 is released from the heat dissipation member 140.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
