Abstract:
To provide a washing and drying machine which reduces cost by abolishing a water-sealing structure for preventing water leak by a water pressure in a water tub, and which performs automatic washing of a drying filter while suppressing increase in a water amount used for washing and drying.SOLUTION: A washing and drying machine includes: an outer tub 2 in which the inside becomes a drying chamber during drying; a rotary drum 3 or an inner tub 3 arranged rotatably in the outer tub 2, and for storing laundry; a motor 4 for driving the rotary drum 3 or the inner tub 3; a housing for supporting the outer tub 2; and a drying device which is the drying device provided in the housing, which has a fan and heating means 31, which blows hot air to the laundry in the rotary drum 3 or the inner tub 3 from a blowout nozzle 32 and which circulates it to the fan via a ventilation port 2c for flowing the air in the outer tub 2 and a dehumidification mechanism. A drying filter 8 is provided between the dehumidification mechanism and the fan, and the drying filter 8 is washed during water supply to the outer tub 2.
