Abstract:
To provide, in focus guide display for assisting a user's focus adjustment operation in manual focus adjustment, displaying focus indices at positions where the focus indices do not go out of a display screen.SOLUTION: A display control device comprises: focus detection means that detects a phase difference by using a pair of light beams passing through different exit pupils of an imaging optical system detected by an image pick-up device; guide display means that displays a guide display superimposed on a display unit, the guide display formed of a focus frame 600 indicating a focus area for focusing and focus indices 601 to 611 indicating the direction of adjustment and the amount of adjustment to a focusing position with respect to a subject included in the focus frame 600; and display position acquisition means that acquires the display positions of the focus frame 600 and focus indices 601 to 611. When the display positions of the focus indices 601 to 611 acquired by the display position acquisition means go out of a display screen, the display control device changes the display positions to positions where the focus indices 601 to 611 do not go out of the display screen.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
