Abstract:
To provide a commodity sales data processing device, an input device, and a program capable of supporting the over-the-counter sales at power failure.SOLUTION: The commodity sales data processing device executing data processing related to commodity sales, includes: a main body part executing the data processing in cooperation with peripheral devices connected to an own device; an input device having a first operation mode operating as the peripheral devices and a second operation mode capable of executing the data processing independently from the main body part; an internal power source; power supply means supplying power of an external power source to the main body part and the input device and supplying power by switching the external power source to the internal power source on condition that the external power source is interrupted; power failure processing means stopping the operation of the main body part on condition that the external power source is switched to the internal power source; and operation mode switching means for operating the input device in the first operation mode while the external power source is in a non-power failure state and operating the input device in the second operation mode when the external power source is switched to the internal power source.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
