Abstract:
To minimize waveform distortion in a power conversion device.SOLUTION: A power conversion device 102 comprises: a plurality of cells 108 each of which comprises a plurality of switching elements and at least one capacitor, the plurality of cells connected in series; a phase information generation section 140P for generating phase information; and on/off control sections 140U, 140V and 140W for turning on/off at the timing on the basis of phase information and cell specific information for each cell 108. The on/off control sections 140U, 140V and 140W preferably control on/off states of the plurality of switching elements in the respective cells 108 on the basis of modulation waves for the respective cells 108 and carrier waves for the respective cells 108, and the phase information is preferably information related to a phase difference between a phase of voltage in an AC system 101 and the carrier wave.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
