Abstract:
To provide a tea leaf drying apparatus capable of grasping without sampling, a dry condition of tea leaves which are dried by being applied with hot wind while continuously flowing, and to provide a tea leaf drying method by the same.SOLUTION: A tea leaf drying apparatus 1 is for drying tea leaves transported by transportation means 2 by hot wind blown from a hot wind flow passage part 6. The tea leaf drying apparatus 1 includes: first temperature measurement means 7a capable of measuring a temperature of hot wind before blowing out from the hot wind flow passage part 6 to a casing part 4; second temperature measurement means 7b capable of measuring a temperature of exhaust air passing the transportation body 2 after blowing out from the hot wind flow passage part 6 to the casing part 4, or a temperature of tea leaves on the transportation body, exposed to hot wind blown from the hot wind flow passage part 6 to the casing part 4; and comparison means 10 capable of acquiring a prescribed index with respect to a dry condition of tea leaves in a transportation process by the transportation body 2 by comparing a temperature measured by the first temperature measurement means 7a to a temperature measured by the second temperature measurement means 7b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
