Abstract:
To provide a vehicle control device capable of making a driver less likely to feel discomfort in a state where driving support is performed in various modes.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device comprises: a peripheral target detection unit 10b; a target travel route calculation unit 10c; a correction travel route calculation unit 10f correcting the target travel route; and an automatic steering control unit 10c supporting to travel within a traffic lane when determining possibility of lane deviation. The correction travel route calculation unit is constructed to set, when a peripheral target to be avoided is detected, an upper limit line of allowable relative speed with respect to the peripheral target, and calculate the correction travel route based on the upper limit line, an evaluation function and a constraint condition. The target travel route calculation unit sets, when the automatic steering control unit detects that own vehicle possibly deviates from the traffic lane, a target travel route offset from center of the travel lane to a possible side of the deviation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
