Abstract:
To provide a vehicular braking device in which a main electric power source and an auxiliary electric power supply unit comprising capacitors are parallely arranged, which even if electric power is continuously supplied from the auxiliary electric power unit, does not provide a feeling of strangeness to an occupant by enabling the auxiliary electric power supply unit to supply electric power.SOLUTION: In a vehicular braking device which comprises: electric brake means that can brake a vehicle by driving a motor by brake operation; a main electric power source that can supply electric power to the electric brake means; an auxiliary electric power supply unit comprising a plurality of capacitors that can supply electric power to the electric brake means; and control means that when required electric power by the electric brake means is larger than electric power that the main electric power source can supply, makes the auxiliary electric power supply unit to supply electric power to the electric brake means together with the main electric power source or in stead of the main electric power source, when electric power is supplied from the auxiliary electric power supply unit to the electric brake means, one capacitor is selected as power supply means and the means is made to supply electric power at predetermined number of times and then the capacitor different from the power supply means is selected as the next power supply means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
