Abstract:
To provide a defoaming agent which has excellent foaming control performance in cleaning (in other words, from cleaning to rinsing), is safe and is inert to the component in a detergent composition, and is stable, and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: A defoaming agent contains (A) organopolysiloxane which has a hydrolyzable group represented by formula (1) on at least one of a silicon atom of an organopolysiloxane segment constituting a main chain, and contains 10 mol% or more of a siloxy unit represented by formula (2) in the total composition, (B) a non-linear organosilicon resin excluding the organopolysiloxane of the component (A), and (C) a hydrophobic filler.SELECTED DRAWING: None
