Abstract:
To suppress the occurrence of resonance and suppress the vibration or the like of a vehicle when cutting off fuel supply to an engine and motoring the engine from a state in which the engine is operated.SOLUTION: When there are satisfied conditions for shifting to scavenging control if the stop of an engine is requested, engine power limiting control is executed such that power output from the engine is limited with an engine upper limit power Pelim as an upper limit. Thereby, torque output from a motor MG1 can be increased (decreased on a negative side), and a difference from positive-side torque to be output from the motor MG1 upon shifting to the scavenging control can be reduced. The torque output from the motor MG1 upon shifting to the scavenging control quickly reaches the positive-side torque, as compared with a case where the engine power is not limited. As a result, the amount of the drop of an engine rotation speed Ne can be reduced, and the engine rotation speed Ne is prevented from entering a resonance band, thus making it possible to suppress the occurrence of the vibration or the like of a vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
