Abstract:
To provide a pneumatic tire that is able to achieve both inhibition of deterioration of rolling resistance and reduction of road noise while improving wet steering stability.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire, which is mounted on a vehicle so as to rotate in a specified rotational direction, comprises: two center main grooves 31; one shoulder main groove 35; a center main-groove-side shoulder groove part 24 formed on a shoulder land part 23 sectioned by the center main grooves 31; and a plane part 70 provided between the shoulder main groove 35 and each center main groove 31 and between the center main groove 31 sectioning the shoulder land part 23 and the center main-groove-side shoulder groove part 24, the plane part being an area where no grooves are formed over the entire circumference in a tire circumferential direction. At least part of the plane part 70 is located in the range of 22% or more but 38% or less of a ground width TW in a tire width direction form a tire equator surface CL. The total width, in the tire width direction, of the plane part is in the range of 10% or more but 30% or less of the ground width TW.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
