Abstract:
To provide a power storage device which enables welding to be performed smoothly between a collector terminal and an external terminal, and to provide a manufacturing method of the power storage device.SOLUTION: A power storage device includes: an electrode body; a housing case which houses the electrode body therein; an external terminal 3 provided on an outer surface of the housing case; a collector terminal connecting the electrode body with the external terminal 3; and a welding part connecting the collector terminal to the external terminal 3. The external terminal 3 includes: a facing surface facing an outer surface of the housing case; and an outer surface located at the opposite side of the facing surface. The external terminal 3 is formed with: an insertion hole extending from the facing surface to the outer surface; and a step part located around an opening of the insertion hole located at the outer surface side. The collector terminal includes a contact surface which contacts with a surface of the step part. The welding part is formed to weld the surface of the step part to the contact surface of the collector terminal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
