Abstract:
To provide a swing rotor which requires a smaller space than a conventional rotor, is smaller than a conventional centrifugal separator and stores a large amount of samples, and to provide a centrifugal separator provided with the swing rotor.SOLUTION: A centrifugal separator includes a swing rotor 12. A rotor arm 24 of the swing rotor has a dent which at least partially swings to an inner part in such a state that a hanger 30 of the swing rotor is shaken out outwards. As the result, a small space is required by shaking and, therefore, a centrifugal separative container, in the turn, the centrifugal separator is made more compact. An inertia mass of the swing rotor is reduced by the dent provided there and energy consumption is considerably cut down mainly upon centrifugal separator starting.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
