Abstract:
To provide an auxiliary heat source device for automobile heating, which does not require an increase in fan capacity, at a low operation cost and without possibility of breakage.SOLUTION: An automobile heater includes: a heater core which utilizes cooling water of an engine to perform heat exchange with air; a fan which passes air through the heater core and feeds the air into a cabin; and an auxiliary heat source device 5 disposed on a leeward side of the heater core. The auxiliary heat source device 5 includes: a container 11 with ventilation gaps that is disposed on the leeward side of the heater core; fins 15 disposed in the ventilation gaps of the container 11; a latent heat type heat storage material 14 in a supercooled state encapsulated in the container 11; and an impact generator 16 applying an impact to the latent heat type heat storage material 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
