Abstract:
To provide an on-vehicle information terminal that can conduct an appropriate evacuation guidance according to an emergency call.SOLUTION: The on-vehicle information terminal includes: an emergency call reception unit 119 for receiving an emergency call; an evacuation place storage unit 201 for storing the positional information of an evacuation place; a signal reception unit 103 for receiving an electric signal from a satellite; a positioning unit 203 for acquiring the current position of a vehicle based on the electric signal received by the signal reception unit 103; a display 113 for displaying the emergency call; and a control unit 207. The control unit 207 searches the evacuation place storage unit 201 for the positional information on the evacuation place located near the current position of the vehicle acquired by the positioning unit 203 when the emergency call reception unit 119 receives an emergency call, and controls the display 113 to display the obtained information for guiding to the evacuation place.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
