Abstract:
To provide a run-flat pneumatic tire having a side reinforcing layer provided in a side wall part, which can reduce weight of the tire by improving a structure of a bead part while maintaining durability.SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire in which a side reinforcing layer 8 is provided in a side wall part and a position with the maximum width of a bead core 5 is arranged on a side closer to inside in a tire radial direction than a center position in a tire radial direction of the bead core 5, is formed with a folded-back part in which a carcass layer is folded back while bending the layer along a peripheral edge of the bead core 5 and then the folded-back part 4B of the carcass layer is extended to each side wall part 2 side while bringing the folded-back part of the carcass layer into contact with a main body part 4A of the carcass layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
