Abstract:
To provide a rubber composition having good wear resistance performance, and a pneumatic tire using the same.SOLUTION: The rubber composition contains a compound having a group represented by formula (I) and a sulfur atom-containing vulcanization accelerator and is obtained by kneading a rubber component and the sulfur atom-containing vulcanization accelerator before kneading the rubber component and sulfur, and then adding sulfur to the obtained kneaded product and kneading them.
