Abstract:
To provide a high-pressure fuel supply pump having a relief valve structure for reducing a frequency of the occurrence of a rise of transient pressure.SOLUTION: A high-pressure fuel supply pump has: a relief passage; a first relief seat arranged in the relief passage; a second relief seat arranged at a downstream side rather than the first relief seat; a first relief valve for opening and closing the first relief seat; a first relief valve holder for holding the first relief valve; a first relief spring for energizing the first relief valve holder toward an upstream side from a downstream side; a first spring stopper abutting on a downstream side of the first relief spring; a second movable seat arranged at a downstream side rather than the first spring stopper, opening and closing the second relief seat, and operating as the second relief valve; a second relief spring for energizing the second movable seat toward an upstream side from a downstream side; and a second spring stopper abutting on a downstream side of the second relief spring. The second movable seat operates integrally with the first spring stopper.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
