Abstract:
To improve a degree of freedom of the design of a scroll passage in a compressor housing and an accommodation part.SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of a compressor housing, in a manufacturing process, a core 70 having a main body part 71 having a shape corresponding to a scroll passage, and a leg part 72 protruding toward an intake air introduction side from the main body part 71 are manufactured. In a forging process, a first die part 81 having a shape corresponding to a portion on a bearing housing side in the compressor housing, and a second die part 82 having a shape corresponding to a portion on the intake air introduction side in the compressor housing, and supporting the leg part 72 in the core 70 are oppositely arranged. Then, in a state that the core 70 is arranged between the first die part 81 and the second die part 82, a molten metal is poured and solidified. In a removal process, the core 70 is removed from the inside of the solidified metal. Then, in a closing process, a hole in a wall part of the scroll passage which is formed by the positioning of the leg part 72 of the core 70 is closed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
