Abstract:
To provide a gasket that has high heat resistance and stable sealability.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a gasket includes: a step (A) of winding a cushioning material sheet 10 into a spiral shape with multiple layers to form a ring-shaped wound body; and a step (B) where the wound body is subjected to press molding in an axial direction. In the step (A), a metal material 20 is interposed between at least one or more interlayers of the respective layers of the wound cushioning material sheet. In the step (B), a ring-shaped bent part 20A that is bent in a radial direction is formed in the metal material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
