Title:
TRANSMISSION BELT, CONTINUOUS VARIABLE TRANSMISSION, DESIGN METHOD OF ELEMENT AND MANUFACTURING METHOD ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2019100548
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To reduce the local wear of a pair of side faces contacting with a V-shaped groove of a pulley, in an element having a pair of pillar parts at both sides of a saddle face contacting with a ring in a width direction.SOLUTION: An element 20 of a transmission belt 10 wound to a pulley of a continuously variable transmission has a flank part 21, a pair of pillar parts 22 and a pair of side faces. The pair of side faces include first side faces 20sa formed at the pillar parts, and second side faces 20sb which are formed so as to continue from the first side faces, and located at internal peripheral sides with respect to the first side faces. Then, the pair of first side faces are formed so as to be inclined to the inside of the pillar parts with respect to extension directions toward external peripheral sides from internal peripheral sides of rings at the continuous second side faces, and the pair of second side faces are formed so as to separate from the internal peripheral sides as progressing toward the external peripheral sides, and so that an angle formed of the pair of second side faces becomes larger than an opening angle of the V-shaped groove of the pulley by 0.2° to 0.8°.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
