Abstract:
To provide an air conditioner in which a housing of a unit storing an infrared sensor is downsized.SOLUTION: An indoor machine comprises an infrared sensor 28 capable of detecting a body temperature of a person, and an infrared sensor unit 2 provided with a window in front of the incorporated infrared sensor 28. The indoor machine also comprises a sensor rotation motor 23 housing the window of the infrared sensor unit 2 in a housing, and a sensor protection part 50 preventing static electricity charged on the person from being discharged to the infrared sensor. The sensor protection part 50, when based on the body temperature of the person detected by the infrared sensor 28, it is detected that the person gets close to the infrared sensor 28 by a predetermined distance or more, houses the window of the infrared sensor unit 2 in the housing of the indoor machine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
