Abstract:
To provide an authentication switch device, network system, and authentication method, capable of constructing a VLAN even if account information registered in an authentication server is not updated.SOLUTION: A user terminal table (22) has a registered port number and VLAN ID for each MAC address of a user terminal 5. When authentication of the user terminal 5 is successful, a frame processing unit (20) takes address information on the user terminal as a key to acquire a port number and VLAN ID from the user terminal table (22). On the basis of the port number and VLAN ID from the user terminal table (22), a frame transfer unit (21) identifies a port to which the successfully authenticated user terminal 5 is connected and sets a VLAN to which the identified port belongs before transferring an authentication result of the user terminal 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
