Abstract:
To provide a method for producing (meth)acrylonitrile, which can produce the same stably for a long period and can maintain the reaction yield.SOLUTION: The method for producing (meth)acrylonitrile comprises the steps of: introducing raw material gases into a fluidized-bed reactor 1 and performing an ammoxidation reaction in the presence of a catalyst to obtain a reaction gas; and a step of introducing powder in a reaction gas discharge piping 4 and, while cleaning a heat exchanger 3 connected to the reaction gas discharge piping 4, discharging the reaction gas in the heat exchanger 3. The reaction gas discharge piping 4 includes: a first portion 4A which extends from the upper part of the fluidized-bed reactor 1 in a height direction thereof to reach the highest point 5 of the reaction gas discharge piping 4; and a second portion 4B which is connected to the highest point 5 and extends toward the heat exchanger 3, where a point 6 of introduction of the powder is at a position in the second portion 4B and at a lower position than the highest point 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
