To solve the problems of high costs relating to measuring devices and utilities, and difficulties in performing measurements with ease, for conventional soundness evaluation methods for water resistant layers of road bridge floor slabs by providing a soundness evaluation method for water resistant layers of road bridge floor slabs.SOLUTION: An evaluation method for evaluating the degree of deterioration in a water resistant layer 6 in a road bridge floor slab 3 comprising a concrete floor slab 4, a water resistant layer 6 provided thereon, and an asphalt pavement 5 provided on the water resistant layer 6, is a soundness evaluation method for a water resistant layer of a road bridge floor slab, in which the degree of deterioration of the water resistant layer 6 is evaluated by measuring electric resistance when the water resistant layer 6 is energized.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
