Abstract:
To provide a technology capable of efficiently warming an EGR cooler.SOLUTION: An EGR cooler includes: a gas route that is a passage formed in the EGR cooler to cause EGR gas to flow; a refrigerant route that is a passage for causing a refrigerant in the EGR cooler to flow and is formed to exchange heat between the EGR gas flowing in the gas route and the refrigerant; a heating element accommodation section that is a space for accommodating a heating element generating heat by adsorbing predetermined working gas in the EGR cooler and is formed to cause at least part of the heating element to abut on a wall surface of the gas route; a working gas tank for storing the working gas; and a gas transfer device for moving the working gas stored in the working gas tank from the working gas tank to the heating element accommodation section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
