Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing a modified fly ash and an apparatus for manufacturing a modified fly ash, which efficiently manufacture a raw material fly ash subjected to treatment for removing unburned carbon by heat treatment without waste into a modified fly ash having a prescribed quality usable as an admixture of concrete.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a modified fly ash includes heating a fly ash by an external heat type rotary kiln, classifying the fly ash with a prescribed particle diameter, collecting the fly ash classified into a fine granule side as a compatible article, on the other hand, crushing the fly ash classified to a coarse grain side into a predetermined fineness and comparing the unburned carbon content ratio with a prescribed target value to determine appropriateness of the fly ash, collecting the fly ash determined as the compatible article by the determination and returning the fly ash determined as an incompatible article to the heating treatment by the external heat type rotary kiln, and thereby efficiently obtaining a modified fly ash without waste from the raw fly ash subjected to the heating treatment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
