Abstract:
To provide a thrust bearing which is improved in a foreign matter discharge property while reducing a slide friction loss, and a bearing device.SOLUTION: A plane part, a tapered part and a pocket part are formed at a slide face of a thrust bearing in this order. The tapered part is formed of a tapered face whose wall thickness becomes gradually thin toward a slide direction from an end part of the plane part. The pocket part includes a bottom face which is formed so that a wall thickness becomes further thinner than the thinnest part of the tapered part, a first side face at a side of the tapered part and a second side face at a side opposite to the first side face. The tapered part is formed so that a depth up to the thinnest part is set to 10 μm to 80 μm. The pocket part is formed so that a first angle between a virtual face which is obtained by extending the bottom face and the second side face is set to 90° to 120°, and that a second angle between a virtual face which is obtained by extending the first side face and the tapered face is set to 60° to 120°.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
