Abstract:
To provide a disconnection detector for detecting disconnection of an LED of a special signal light emitter without newly installing a cable.SOLUTION: A light emitter includes: a pair of power source output terminals connected with a cable for supplying a power source to the light emitter; a first path for having current flow through when connected to the power source output terminals and having the light emitter emit light and a second path for the current to flow through when detecting disconnection; current measuring means capable of measuring the current flowing through the second path; control means with a function to implement measuring by the current measuring means by having current flow through the second path at a prescribed timing and a function for determining disconnection or deterioration on the basis of a current value detected by the current measuring means; and output means for outputting the determined result to outside. Switching means are provided in the middle of the first path and the second path capable of switching between conduction and non-conduction state, and the conduction state is composed with a condition that there is no light emitter command signal from outside in the switching means in the middle of the second path.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
