Abstract:
To provide a light-emitting device, an image-reading device, an image-forming device, and a method for manufacturing a light-guiding body, which can increase a ratio (utilization factor) of an amount of light irradiated to a target object through a light-guiding body with respect to an amount of light emitted by a light-emitting element compared to a case where a reflective layer is directly formed on the light-guiding body.SOLUTION: A reflection layer 182 has a light refraction factor larger than a material forming a light-guiding body 140, and is formed on a surface of the light-guiding body 140 with a transparent layer 182 therebetween which is formed of a light-transmissible material on a surface of the light-guiding body 140.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
