Abstract:
To provide a thermistor having a protective film which is less likely to be corroded by a glass component contained in an electrode portion and which has an excellent insulating property, and a method for manufacturing the thermistor.SOLUTION: A thermistor includes: a thermistor body 2; a pair of electrode units 3 formed on a surface of the thermistor body and containing a glass component; and an insulating protective film 4 formed on the surface of the thermistor body except for a portion where the electrode units are brought into contact with the thermistor body. A part of the electrode units is also formed on the protective film. The protective film has a laminated film of a SiOfilm 5 and a ZrOfilm 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
