Abstract:
To provide methods for producing ciliary body margin-like structure with high efficiency.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a cell aggregate comprising ciliary body margin-like structure, the method comprising culturing a cell aggregate comprising retinal tissue, in which the abundance ratio of Chx10-positive cells in the retinal tissue is 20% or more to 100% or less, in a serum free medium or serum medium containing a Wnt signaling pathway agonist and an FGF signaling pathway inhibitor only during the period until the appearance of cells expressing RPE65 gene, and subsequently culturing the obtained "cell aggregate in which cells expressing RPE65 gene have not appeared" in a serum-free medium or serum medium free of the Wnt signal pathway agent.SELECTED DRAWING: None
