Abstract:
To provide a seat reclining device in which restriction of an operation amount of a seat back is less, intensity of an internal mechanism is high, and excellent in certainty of operations.SOLUTION: A seat reclining device comprises first and second poles which are radially movably supported to a base member and engage to an internal tooth of a ratchet and in which engagement thereof is released. The ratchet has first and second pole regulation parts, in an unlock range in which, the first pole regulation part positioned outside of the radial direction and a first restriction part of the first pole face in the radial direction, engagement of each pole to the internal tooth of the ratchet is regulated, and the ratchet can rotate always to the base member. In a partial specific range of the unlock range, the second pole regulation part positioned inside of the radial direction and a second restriction part of the second pole face in the radial direction. The first pole regulation part has a pressing part for pressing the first restriction part for moving the first pole inward of the radial direction, and the second pole is moved inward of the radial direction in linkage with movement of the first pole through a linkage member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
