Abstract:
To provide a vehicle behavior control device that can improve responsiveness of vehicle behavior and a linear feeling to steering operation and improve a feeling of safety by stabilizing a vehicle attitude, without providing a strong feeling of control intervention and a feeling of strangeness.SOLUTION: A vehicle behavior control device, which is equipped with a brake control system 18 that can apply different braking force to left and right wheels, comprises: a steering angle sensor 8 that detects a steering angle; and a yaw moment setting part 22 that sets a target moment which should be applied to a vehicle, sets a yaw moment command value determined by adding a prescribed offset value to the target moment until a predetermined risetime elapses after the target moment starts to increase from 0, and sets the target moment as the yaw moment command vale after the risetime elapses. The brake control system controls braking force for the wheels on the basis of the yaw moment command value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
