Abstract:
To provide an image capturing lens which satisfies requirements of a wide angle, low height, and low F-number, and yet offers good optical characteristics.SOLUTION: An image capturing lens comprises, in order from the object side to the image side; a first lens having an object-side surface that is convex near an optical axis and positive refractive power; a second lens having negative refractive power near the optical axis; a third lens having positive refractive power near the optical axis; a fourth lens; and a fifth lens having an image-side surface that is concave near the optical axis and negative refractive power. The image-side surface of the fifth lens has an aspherical shape having an extremum point at a position off the optical axis. The image capturing lens satisfies predetermined conditional expressions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
